The Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence (AzCADV) is a non-profit membership organization comprised of representatives from Domestic Violence programs and other concerned individuals and groups. The mission of the Coalition is to lead, to advocate, to educate, to collaborate, to end domestic violence in Arizona. AzCADV currently has one full-time Trainer position available, bi-lingual English/Spanish
speaking preferred.

The Trainer works with the Director of Domestic Violence Services, the Training Coordinator and AzCADV staff. This position is primarily responsible for implementation of statewide training and technical assistance to domestic violence victim service programs, Department of Economic Security programs, allied professionals and other individuals and community groups who request assistance and training. In addition, this position will staff Coalition Committees. The Trainer represents the Coalition and participates in community committees and activities
statewide.

JOB SUMMARY:
Trainers are responsible for researching and designing curriculums individually and with the training department; delivering trainings on domestic violence and domestic violence related topics throughout the state of Arizona; providing technical assistance; representing the Coalition at events, meetings, and task forces; coordinating the activities of AzCADV committees. Significant statewide travel is a requirement of the position. Trainers uphold the mission, vision and guiding principles of AzCADV.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training on domestic violence and related topics, statewide;
Staying current with domestic violence research;
Creating curriculums for trainings and presentations varying in length;
Provide support and participate in AzCADV events, meetings and task forces;
Keeping training materials up-to-date;
Technical Assistance;
AzCADV Liaison to the Women of Color Committee;
AzCADV Liaison to the Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Committee;
Representation on statewide and regional committees and task forces;
Assist with AzCADV’s annual conference and workshops;
Completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports;
Ability to work in high pressure, limited resources environment;
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required for all candidates:
Must have a thorough understanding of domestic violence and a commitment to ending domestic violence; Must have a demonstrated understanding and commitment to issues of cultural diversity as they apply to domestic violence prevention, intervention and services; ability and willingness to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences; Must have significant experience providing direct services to victims of domestic violence; Must have training/presentation experience;
Must have reliable transportation; Must have the ability to research, create and implement curriculum surrounding domestic violence issues; Must be a team player;
Must be able to work independently; Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; Must be able to travel statewide, including overnights and weekends and; Must be able to be flexible.

Ideal candidate will:
Have a working knowledge of adult learning principles; Have a Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Gender or Women’s Studies, Justice Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Communications, Human Services, or a related field and; Be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Retirement Plan Service Specialist

Group Overview: Fulfill a consultative role by interacting with participants in company retirement plans helping them to and through retirement.

Responsibilities: Working as a financial services professional, this position requires a unique blend of industry knowledge and excellent customer service skills to address inquiries from company retirement plan participants. Communicating over the phone or via e-mail, a person in this role will provide guidance on many topics relating to retirement plans and investing including contributions, distributions, investment options, plan design, and general account servicing. The position requires the ability to research complex issues with internal partners and respond to customers with accurate and informed resolutions. The person will also possess the ability to recognize verbal queues from customers and incorporate their knowledge of Schwab's products and services in order to recommend the best solution for their needs.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
• Series 7 license preferred
• Bilingual- Fluent Spanish Speaking Highly Preferred
• Preferred 3-4 years customer service experience in qualified retirement plan and/or brokerage environment
• Basic knowledge of pension/trust, and compliance, rules and regulations pertaining to participant transactions and departmental correspondence/workflows
• Basic working knowledge of computer and related software applications
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong team orientation and experience
• Good organizational skills with ability to work on multiple assignments and complete them within established deadlines
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment and function in a professional manner under pressure
• Ability to handle all customer questions and complaints with very little escalation to more senior department members
• Ability to train others in performing ongoing responsibilities
